Text by Gemma Medina Estupiñán:
Marisa Rappard has reconstructed an ancient map from the sixteenth century in a sketch process of drift and discovery that introduced old urban planning as an outline for something else. In De Fabriek she redefines the original drawing, consciously taking some distance to highlight different areas and shaping original forms. The result is a singular landscape playing with our imagination. Rappard is welcoming you to get lost into the picture and discover new routes.
