In this new series, initiated in 2021, Rappard visualises thoughts on facts becoming fiction, and the effects this has on human behaviour. The harshness of online opinions and polarisation stemming from it moved her to start this series in black and white, in which the nuance and greytones play an important role.
The size of the drawings vary; most works are large, e.g. 140 x 180 cm, or 240 x 280 cm. Rappard is also integrating digital drawigns. ‘Juxtaposed’ is a digital drawing printed on acrylic.
